Determine which screen resolution is appropriate for your monitor. Save the image in the My Pictures folder.

Right–click the desktop, and then click Properties.

Select the Browse button. Click it and it should bring up My Pictures folder select the Red Eyed Tree Frog photo.

Select Open

In the Position drop–down menu, select Center, Tile the image, or Stretch it to cover the whole screen.

Click Apply

Mac OS X

Determine which screen resolution is appropriate for your monitor.

With cursor over image, hold down mouse button and choose Save Image As.... Save the image to the Picutres folder

Choose Apple menu select System Preferences and click Desktop & Screen Saver, or press the Control key and clicking the desktop, then choosing Change Desktop Background from the shortcut menu.

Click Desktop tab, and then do one of the following:
Select Choose Folder.

Mac OS 9 and

Determine which image size is appropriate for your monitor.

Click the size you wish to download.

With cursor over image, hold down mouse button and choose Save Image As...

From the Apple Menu (at the top left of your screen) select Control Panels, then Desktop Pictures or Appearance. (If the new window reads appearance, select the tab that reads Desktop.)

If necessary, click Remove Picture to clear the current desktop picture.

Click Select Picture or Place Picture, then locate and click the image file.

Click OK or Choose.

Finally, click Set Desktop.
